Bios Life 2
Clinical Trials
Ensuring Scientific Results |
"Placebo controlled" means that one set of patients was given Bios Life 2 while another set was given a placebo. "Double blind" means that neither the patients nor the researchers knew which individuals were taking Bios Life 2 or a placebo. “Randomized” means participants were randomly assigned to the control or placebo groups. These controls help ensure that the results are objective and scientifically accurate. |
The life-saving benefits of Bios Life 2 have been proven by multiple clinical studies conducted at some of the most highly regarded research institutions in the United States, including the Cleveland Clinic, Stillwater Heart Center and Stanford. Here are results from some of the clinical research conducted on Bios Life 2.
>> Cleveland Clinic Study Shows that Bios Life 2 Reduces Cholesterol and Supports Weight Loss
Researchers at the highly esteemed Cleveland Clinic conducted a placebo controlled, double-blind, randomized clinical trial to evaluate Bios Life 2's ability to improve cardiovascular health, but the results also showed its benefits for weight loss.
Study participants began following a low-fat diet six weeks before the study began, and they had starting cholesterol levels of 164. They took two doses of Bios Life 2 (or placebo for the control group) each day for eight weeks. Results were tested at four weeks and again at eight weeks.
The impressive results showed that Bios Life 2:
- Reduces LDL (the “bad” cholesterol) and total cholesterol levels [10.3% difference between groups (p<0.001)]
- Increases HDL (the “good” cholesterol) level [+2.3% with treatment (p=0.19)]
- Decreased triglyceride level [9.6% difference (p=0.17)]
- Encourages weight loss
- Decreased ApoB [20% reduction with treatment (p=0.0004)]
- Decreased Homocysteine [9.8 mg/dl to 8.7 mg/dl, p=0.02]
- When used concomitantly with statins yielded a >10% benefit in LDL reduction.
After reviewing the results,
Cleveland Clinic researcher Dennis Sprecker, M.D., said:
"Bios Life 2®, when taken as directed, imparts a
significant cardiovascular risk reduction."

>> Stillwater Heart Center Study Proves That Bios Life 2
Significantly Improves Cholesterol Levels
Researchers at the Stillwater Heart Center in Stillwater , Oklahoma , also conducted a clinical study on Bios Life 2 to evaluate its cardiovascular benefits. The study included 240 patients who took one serving of Bios Life 2 dissolved in water or juice at least two or three times per day before meals.
In just three months, compliant patients experienced tremendous results. On average, patients:
- Cut total cholesterol 30 percent
- Cut LDL 26 percent
- Increased HDL (the good cholesterol) 30 percent
- Cut triglycerides a remarkable 79 percent
Dr. Art Hagan, a lead researcher and physician
at the Stillwater Heart Center noted, “I currently have
between 700 and 800 patients taking Bios Life 2.
The treatment goals have been achieved better
with the addition of Bios Life 2 to their medical regimen.”

>> Additional Clinical Trial Shows How Bios Life 2 Improves Blood Sugar Levels
Bios Life 2 also proved effective in a clinical trial conducted by the Certified Diabetes Educators of DiabetesinControl.com that was presented at the 2001 American Association of Certified Diabetes Educators (AACDE) conference.
This independent group studied diabetic patients for three months, giving them Bios Life 2 twice daily before meals. Study results were strong:
- Average reduction in postprandial blood glucose of 17.2%
(Postprandial means after a meal.)
- Average reduction of fasting blood glucose of 17%
- Average reduction of HbA1c of 15.2%
(HbA1c is an indicator of average blood sugar levels.)
- Average reduction of total cholesterol of 12%
- Average drop in triglycerides of 42%
- Average increase in HDL cholesterol of 6%
- Average drop in blood pressure of 5%
- Average drop in body weight of .05% (8 pounds)
